MidWest Torque Converter?

I was searching Torque converters and came across the giant thread over at ls1.com. Throughout the searches i noticed a lot of people saying that they were crap. My question is Why? Nobody really gave an answer, they just said they weren't good. I think it a helluva deal at 425.

I have never seen anyone call them crap. I like mine so far. I have yet to get it to the track because of snow. The performance on the street is awesome.
Hope this helps.

I've never heard a bad thing about Midwest. Had mine for about a year and love it.

Midwest converters

I have to agree with other posts on this topic. Midwest converters rock!! I got the 2800 stall,2.5 str. Nittos on back. That sob hits like a **** off the line!! sideways (with 3 people in the car) then the Nittos hook up. Mine was 489 shipped to my door.Best mod I have done so far. Only negative---gas mileage is down, cause you got to give it more gas to get going, car is now a dead stop racer, not as much from a roll.Once I increase rwh(with headers) should do even better. I recommend them.
