Question Middle of Intake Leak fix...

Ok so everythings apart, manifolds off...

as for the last 2 bolts on the drivers side, how the hell are you to tourqe them down ? and as for cleaning it all, my gaskets came right off and its pretty clean, can i use some sand paper to rough it up a lil, and when i took the manifold off, i had some little dirt, sand kinda crap and it got in the valley, is it ok to leave some of it there, i cant clean it all but it isnt that bad at the same time, just little particlles.... thanks guys.... and oh yeah the OEM fuel line set, took me 20 seconds to get the lines off....

I just used alot of different extensions and a ratcheting torque wrench. It is a pain and it took me awhile to get the back ones. Also a good universal works too!

I don't remember having any trouble getting to them. Can't remember what I used, but I know I did not have to use any universal.

I didnt do mine by the bood per say. I just did this fix a day or two ago. I did torque the front six bolts, but the rear four i was unable to get at them even with 2 extension, swivels, etc. I kinda got a feel for the first six, so i just guessed at it. Dont tighten the crap out of them. Your engine wont explode if you dont torque them exactly to spec. Just make sure you tighten them in ten to fifteen ft. lb. increments.

i dont think its necessary to torque them to spec as long as you dont tighten the **** out of them. i gave all mine a good snug torque and a friend did the same with his... we both have had zero problems.
