Mid-length header choices

I'm doing a rebuild and will be adding ML headers among mucho other stuff.
I like the MAC mid-length with the included Y pipe as they have individual flanges and will be easier to align than the traditional sb chevy style headers with a single plate flange that mates to the head. Any reason to choose the Pacesetters or any other brand over the MAC's ?
I plan to use the "dead soft" gaskets.

Mods planned for the rebuild include LT4 Hot Cam kit, 54 or 58mm TB, ported heads with bowls blended/teardropped/thinned guides. Have not decided on steel vs. cast crank yet. Probably will go with the forged pistons. Plan to get hi-pressure, STANDARD vol. oil pump. Already have K&N CAI kit, and 3.5" OR exhaust with 2-chamber Flowmaster. The car is a 6sp with stock 3.42 gears.

If I remember correctly, I gained 23rwhp from installing my MACs. May have even been more. MACs are great, you won't be disappointed.

I had mac mids, and didnt see a big gain from driving it. I ditched mine for pacesetter long tubes. didnt see much of a difference there either. I guess i just cant tell a whole lot. I have to admit though, the long tubes were easier to install than the macs. Dont ask me why.

The Macs have great plug access. IMO pass of the TB, no bang for the buck with your planned mods. Use that money elsewhere (1.6 RR's).

I had Mac's on my 95 Z and I really liked them. BUT the Pacesetters are considerably less money. I'm trying to decide which one to go with.....I'm leaning towards the Mac's because the plug acess was awesome.
