no its 26in TALL and 16 inner diameter

Does that require tubbing?

Whats the maximum size one can run without tubbing? (exact specifications)

No tubbing required. That tire is only just a little larger than the 275/40/17. Mainly height difference. You can also go to a 28 inch tire on a 15'' rim but some wheel well massaging may be required.

What offset wheel gets you the most width without going outside of the wells?

Any caliper modification required?

Could probably handle tubbing... i've got a friend who could do the welding but...Nah.
