Personally I go with the regular. I keep hearing stories about guys going electric and it failing out on them prematurely. If you like to keep an eye on your temp gauge go electric. If you want peace of mind go regular.

I think he means regular electric or hd electric. not mechanical.

As much money as you sink into your car, its not worth fussing over 30$. Then you have piece of mind that if you ever build it, you have a water pump that will more than handle the cooling capabilities you need.
