Metal flakes in coolant

I did a flush and fill on the z today and noticed alot of metal flakes as I was bleeding the system, Im thinking the water pump is shot. Any idaeas? thanks

I've seen this with bars leak head gasket repair. Silver and gold flakes. Not saying that's what it is but it could be alot of things
