Maybe a dumb question... CAI

im looking to get a Cold air intake for my 94 trans am... but i dont see how its a big benefit when you leave the stock elbow there...

does anyone sell a full kit from the elbow to the filter using the stock MAF?

I have a K&N FIPK 2 form my 96 Trans Am, and a friend with a 1LE elbow for sale also.

the elbow is the least restrictive part of the intake.

You have a few options with the elbow, you can seal up the silencer, or you can replace the elbow all together with an aftermarket unit like the Trickflow or 1LE elbow.
