AFAIK, I'm the highest so far at 375/363 with a few left in the tune, but I'm on a 112* LSA too. Dyno Chart Looking at the chart, it was still climbing when it was shut down because of the A/F ratio. I'm looking for over 380/370 once it's all sorted out, maybe more depending on how high I rev.

There's several guys in the 360's also. Chris96WS6 comes to mind first and foremost, and I know there's a couple more, just can't remember their names.

These are with ported heads of course.

I hit 366 on mine... fastbird what was your injector duty cycle? I didn't get any info from Jim when he tuned it, but based on the math the stock injectors are doing 100% duty cycle at 5200 RPM!!!

Yeah I hit 362hp. That's with an ignition problem and a 13.7 AFR. I think it has 370+ in it if I can get those things sorted out.

In an M6 car I would expect 380 ish.

I had the 224/230 in my 10.0cr , 383 a few years back. Good cam but fell off to quick for my taste. I did make 410rwhp/389rwtq with it. Swapped to CC306 and did some DIY cleanup on my heads, car then jumped to ~460rwhp. At the track best trap with 224/230 was 93.5 mph in the 1/8th, with the 306 it was 97.41. Car weighed 3715 lbs with both cams and time of year the same.

What did your TQ curve do when you swapped to the 306??? That's one of the perks of the 224/230. TQ all over the place.

The curves were almost identical, but the 306 peaked higher. On the street you could feel no difference at all. Car would blow the tires off from a roll in 1st, 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd would lay down 2 long marks. I just loved the top end pull of the CC306, felt like a turbo car. Pulled and pulled until the redline.

I figured you'd lose a bit of low end with the 306.

im having issues deciding whether to throw this cam in or sell it and buy cc306 or get a custom grind after my heads are done, i just keep hearing ppl say negative things about shelf grinds. id like to hit the 400 mark or more, you guys have some nice numbers with this cam!! thanks for your input!

How much are you spending on those heads? Over a grand? Close to $1500 in parts/labor and possibly shipping? More?

Get the most out of that investment. Get a custom grind.

I realize I'm sitting here telling you this while I have a 224/230 in my LT1 right now (no p&p on the heads), but I got that a year and a half ago and it's a good all around cam with stock head flow. Come p&p time, it's outta here.

I LIKE the lift if the heads can support it. Other than that, I don't see it being a huge gain over the 224/230. There's just not enough people running it yet. 3* extra of duration isn't all that much in the big picture.
