I am interested in doing the Scorpion 1.7rr's soon and i was wondering if the LT4 springs would do the job. This would be on a stock cam, so i imagine the lift wouldnt be too bad. I think i worked it out and with the stock cam and the 1.7's the lift would be about: 506.6/520.2 . The only reason i plan on doing the rr's and not a cam is because i have such high milage. My plan was to do the rr's and just drive it like that till the thing goes, then rebuild something a bit better, throw heads/cam in it, and then id already have the rr's ... minus the new springs i would need. Thanks for any input.

 

The lift with the hotcam and 1.6 RR's is .525/.525 so I would think those springs should work ok with 1.7's and the stock cam as long as it doesnt exceed .525 lift.

 

Does anyone know what the exact numbers would be with stock motor and the 1.7's from scorpion?
