MASSIVE homemade CAI....
..... I guess I must have been bitten by the 'more is better bug' cuz I've
REALLY gone off of the deep end this time. I have a homemade CAI on my
'94 Firebird that is made out of 4" pipe & up until now had a K&N airfilter
that was 7" in diameter, 9" long with a 4" intake. I took it off to clean
it and upon inspection realized that it was SO dirty {and a little bent up}
that I figured it just be a lot easier to replace it. Well, when I went on the
K & N web site I saw that they had a filter that had a 4" intake, was also
7" in diameter but it was 18" LONG! So I went out side with my trusty tape
measure & after some measuring I'm determained to make it fit. Yep, its
7"x18", its HUGE..... It should be here Monday so that'll be install day....
