many probs...still new and need help
hey guys,
I have a few probs that i need some help with. The car will stumble/buck, and then stop run fine for a sec, and start to stumble/buck again( under heavy throttle) in all gears. Also when floored and around 5000 rpms, the check guages light flashes. I did a complete tune up in September and just replaced the alternator, battery, and serpentine belt two weeks ago. I noticed a rip in the intake elbow where it connects to the Throttle Body. I taped it up with electrical tape as a temp solution. Nothing i do seems to help. I've been dealing with these probs for over a month. The car runs like a dog with only three legs. Please help with any answers or ideas. Thanks to all in advance.

you need to get a new intake elbow. that can cause the problems you are having. also could be the coil, burned plug wire, fouled plug, coil wire, opti, o2 sensor. there are a number of things that could be wrong but i'd start by fixing what you know is wrong.
