Ok, I did a search on a Manual Steering rack and have a question for the guys out there who have installed it. I was wondering what the amount of turns it was from Lock to Lock? I know my Trans am is like 3 turns to 3 1/2 turns lock to lock. Does the manual take alot more turns or is it pretty close to what came in the car originally? PLease let me know. Thanks for the input.

 

My old 92 WS6 had a 12.7:1 ratio (thats 2 and a quarter turns lock to lock WITHOUT killing turning radius).

I "think" from lock-to-lock in my F body...I dont know if they changed the steering box or anything like that...and my car is in pieces so, I wanna say it stayed the same, or is 3 turns. The reason I'm not sure is because I could have sworn I heard it had a 15.7:1 ratio.....stupid memory
