Manley valves same v. stem seals as stock?

I have some manley 2.00 1.56 valves that will be installed in my new heads. Do they take the same valve stem seals as the stockers?

Thanx
Joe

Most likely they will be the same, but you need to check the stem diameter to ensure a proper fit. I'm using oem design seals on my 2" valves. (Victor Reinz valve stem seals Car Quest P/N B45796 $19/set)

BTW, I used to live in Decatur.

I have Manley 2.00/1.56 valves in my heads and I use stock valve stem seals. So to answer your question, yes, they will work fine.

They may or may not be. That is why you should check. If you gave Manley P/N it would be easy to check to be certain. But there are many products on the market and frequently when using a high performance valves, the stem dia. may be reduced for increased air flow. For example, all BBC engine come from the factory with valve stems that are 3/8", but many aftermarket valves, particularly stainless steel, are 11/32". Close but not the same.

If you are referring to stem dia., then, for about the last 49 years, (any) sbc has been the same.
