Mandrel Bent Tubing
#3
Well, I bought an Airaid CAI for my Durango a couple days ago. The Airaid kit consists of the "airbath" box, and the oval tapered K&N-style filter. The filter/airbath box sit right on top of the bottom portion of the factory airbox. All I had to remove was the top of the factory airbox lid.
My plan is to get a 90-degree elbow and a straight piece of mandrel-bent tubing to go from the throttle-body to the Airaid setup. I plan on joining it all with that rubberized tubing stuff that is used for intercoolers and supercharger plumbing. This will replace the "air hat" in front of the throttlebody.
Get any idea of what I'm doing?

I'll check them out. I haven't done any measurements yet, but I think I'll need 3.5" to 4" tubing.
