Any tips in installing a mallory 685 ignition box?
And were did you mount it other than on top of the the fuse box.

I've had mine for about 1.5 years now and have to disconnect in summer due to it being mounted in engine bay and not working with heat soak. I suggest locating it inside the car, we just did a friends install and he put it in the center console but cutting a hole in the bottom to allow it to poke through and be adjusted by opening armrest.

Run the wires throught the grommet behind the PCM on the passenger side of the engine bay. Put the box in the glovebox. Get the $30 adapter from jegs so you don't have to splice any wires, because there are no LT1 specific install directions. Works great for me
