Make up my mind!!! (headers)

im going nuts debating over which headers to order. ive got about 700 bucks burning a hole in my pocket. heres my dilemma, i dont really care about emissions, as long as there is no SES light, i dont want to scrape on everything with them, and i dont want sucky headers. i was thinking hooker or jet hot longtubes, but i dont know of a ypipe that will fit them well and not be too low. are their any longtubes that tuck up under the car well, and have a good ypipe for them?

Regarding the Jet Hot pipes (they're what I want) here is what the Jet Hot guy told me:

" www.mufflex-performance.com has a ypipe that will work with our headers, and any ypipe you find that will work with Hooker headers will work with ours. "

He also said their y pipe would be out this summer.

just get a custom made y-pipe or run true duals. i wouldn't get anything other than hooker long tubes or the jet hot long tubes.

Depends on how loud you want it.
I am putting Flowtech Purple hornies on mine, that is a header muffler that bolts on the collector and straight glasspack with a 3 inch turndown. It will be LOUD. I will see if I can live with it or not, I may have a local shop do up a true dual setup.

TPIS makes great long tubes for the LT1 with Y pipes with or without cats. They guarantee better ground clearance than any others. They are more pricey than the Hooker/Jet-Hot LTs but not as high as FLPs.

I don't have a pic but I got the coated Hooker Long Tubes and a 4 inch mufflex Y-pipe with a 3 inch reducer and it bolted up beautifully!
