MAJOR problem, I need your help
OK here it goes. I installed a new water pump and went to go put the thermostat housing back on the pump and I tightened on of the housing screws down a little too hard and SNAP it broke off. So now I have one screw thats fine and the other is broke in two pieces.....on piece in the trash and the other still in my water pump. How exactly am I supposed to get this thing out?!
Also is there a gasket or an O-ring that goes between the thermostat housing and the water pump? If so I lost it. If there is one, does anyone know the P/N for it so I can replace it?

yea you could try to pull it out with screw extractors which work pretty well SOMETIMES but even if you do get the screw out, i can guarntee that you won't be able to get a new one in there... your just gonna have to get a new WP that's pretty much all there is to it... unless you wanna do a lot of work that might not even guarntee that it's gonna come out right
Im not too sure on what the extractor looks like...and I dont know what heli-coil is....now all I need to know is what those are, and hopefully I can get this damn car going again. Thanks for the help guys.
I've never had good luck with extractors. If the bolt is stuck in there pretty bad, then chances are an ez-out or screw extractor won't work. I normally don't even bother trying those things.
I just use a center punch to make a guide for a bit in the middle of the broken bolt, then drill out a hole with the thinest bit available (I use cobalt bits) then go for a bigger bit. (usually matching the thickness of the bolt, but if the bolt is bigger, I go through a couple of bits, gradually increasing)
Then I run a thread maker through the hole to make it nice and clean.
I've never used a heli coil but from what I've heard, it's sort of a spring that replaces threads. Usually, you have to drill one size bigger to fit a heli coil.

Well i got the bolt out using a hammer and a punch to loosen it up and then some vice grips to spin it out. Got a new bolt and now the F*CKING thing will not seal all the way. A little bit off coolant leaks out from the thermostat housing. Are you guys SURE there isnt a gasket or something that goes in besides the thermostat itself?!
OK, I thought you didn't have a piece sticking out. Yea, easier to do it the way you did.
Try some Permatex thermostat housing sealant. Also make sure to clean both the housing and the waterpump surfaces before applying sealant.
If the bolt isn't going in all the way, use some washers.
