mailorder tune q's??

Madwolf, I could have emailed you directly, but i thought any info might benifit others also.

After reading thru your website, I'm not clear whether you remap the fuel and timing curves with your tunes.

If so, does it matter what elevation the car is at, my car can handle way more timing since I am at 4400ft.

Also, would that tuning be different depending on the thermostat temp?

Isn't there some mod involving moving the temp sensor also, do you have to take things like that into account?

Is ECM tuning the only way to lower idle speed, my car idles at about 800, but it seems a little high, I would rather see it a little lower.

Thanks for any help.

Yes, of course I update both fuel and timing tables.

It's not that your car will take more timing at your elevation, but being that MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) readings will be lower, the PCM will use timing tables with less timing (lower rpm) than for close to sea level WOT range. (95-100 Kilopascals)
I can edit those lower KPA tables for more timing if that's what you want, but upper RPM in that range already has more timing than in the higher KPA tables.

Your questions regarding thermostat temperature are kind of confusing. If you are reffering to a 160* thermostat, the fan settings will obviously be different than a stock thermostat.

Yes, the idle speed will need to be adjusted in the tune. I've had a few people asking for lower idle than stock before, so that would be no problem. M6 Corvettes idle lower anyway.
