Mail in Tunes

I got a 93 z28 and as most of you know these arent the easiest of models to tune. Where did you guys send your PCMs to tune or do you know of any good companys that I can send it to. Zippy Performance in Vegas is the one I know of but any other ideas are great. thanks

I used Madtuner.com but I wouldn't recommend him. He is pretty rude and his customer service is trash. I have heard mostly great things from pcmforless.com.

Re: Mail in Tunes

I've heard very good things about PCMForLess.com

I used Trifecta Performance and used their GT Tuner option, which was very easy to install. Although they don't list any LT1 Options anymore, and I don't think a 94 even supports Tuning through the OBD Port anyways.

So I would opt for PCMForLess if I was in your shoes. They've been in F-Body tuning business since the LT1 came out, so I'm sure their tunes are about as good as you can get, and they are well raved about for customer service. Also don't seem to be overpriced either...

Re: Mail in Tunes

If he is a '93 then he needs someone with chip burner. 94 was the first year for flashable PCM's. I don't know if the recommended tuners have chip burners. You would need to contact them to find out.

Hmm yeah good call - Looks like PCMForLess does support those as well.

Don't know why I thought it said 94

Re: Mail in Tunes

I had a few mad tuner tunes. I wasn't very pleased with them. Then I tried LT1pcmtuning.com and Solomon was great to deal with. I hate to sound like a salesman but after a few data logs it was a whole different car. I am going to go with him again in the near future. Never had any experience with pcmforless but I have heard great things from them too. Good luck.
