Mail Order Tune...Where to Go??

I'm getting a new cam install next week. And I'll need a tune. I'm going with the TPIS ZZ409 cam. I thought about having TPIS do the tune, but I'm just getting some other options too. Does anyone else know of a place that would be able to tune for this cam? What about the costs? Thanks for any help.

I've got PCMFORLESS as well. Nothing but good stuff from Bryan!

Here's another with an excellent rep: www.madz28.com

Home tuning!

Nothing against Ion or Bryan - they probably know 10x what I do - but after tuning myself, I don't see how you can get dialed in with a mailorder. Set the rev limiter, add some timing, etc - no problem. However, part throttle tuning took me about 2 weeks (two tunes a day after coming home from work) to get pretty much dialed in. I tried 3-4 different tunes for similar mods, and the stock tune closer!

I just don't see how someone can get a tune close without logging, retuning, logging, etcetera - the whole process .

Have any of you guys that have done the Mail in tune, like MadZ28 and PCMforless have a less common cam like me, the ZZ409? I'm just wondering if these guys are any good at tuning for this cam since it's not as common. Thanks.

Madwolf.

I'm very happy with the tune I got from him. My car drives just like stock except for a bit of cam surge if I'm going 5 mph in first(below 1k RPM). The WOT o2's are 870 mV, no knock/missing/surging etc... Great guy to deal with too.

From what I hear on ls1.com I would stay away from Ed Wrong (Wright) tuning.
