Mahle Powerpak longevity

Hi,

I'm pretty heavily considering the Mahle Powerpak pistons, and I was curious whether anyone had any longevity experience with them.

The rings are 3.0mm/1.5mm/1.5mm which is a decent bit thinner than 5/64 3/64 3/64 ring package that I used previously. How much of a reduction in engine life should I expect running these rings?

Thanks!

None, the rings and the ring lands in the pistons are made to run these. FWIW the stock ring pack in the newer LS motors is down to a 1.2, 1.5, 2.0mm set, and the LS1's have been running 1.5, 1.5, 3.0 for a decade now.
