Magnesium centerbolt valve covers.

So i bought a set of these because a buddy of mine said they fit on his lt1 with his comp pro mags 1.6 rockers and then did a search on here for them and found one thread from 04 that says only 1.5 rockers will work but my buddy says he has them on his no problems. Anyone else use these since then?

If the stock ones fit with minor alterations then aftermarket ones better fit. Got any pictures?

well they are stock. They came on the TPI's and also the first year corvette with the lt1. Looks like im going to have to cut out the drip tabs or take a set of pliers to them. Anyone got a picture of what to do with the pliers?

I've seen pics where someone tried to break the drip tabs off with pliers and cracked the valve cover. I cut mine off with a dremel.

is that all you had to do was cut them off to fit the rockers?

Usually have to pinch the breather baffles in with pliers for clearance also.In extreme cases with wide body rockers , TPI guys have narrowed the hold down bolt posts as well
