Thumbs down MAGNAFLOW CATBACK: false claims.

I almost bought a set of Magnaflow's catback for my 95 Z28.
In the advertising claims and articles written in aftermarket places such as Summit racing, and GM Hi-tech Performance ( to which I subscribe) they claim that the measurements are: 3" going into muffler and 3 1/2" going
out all the to end of tailpipe.
I think most people take what they read for granted. I even phoned up
Magnaflow and asked what they were, and they said the same as the articles, and advertising. Went to my Dealer, who had 4 in stock, took catback out of box and YES YESS ....they are....2 1/2" going into the muffler and out...tailpipe as well except the tip. Something wrong here?/ By the way part#= 15620..

95Z28LT1A4 Red w/Black Ttop: Holley 58mm: racetronix fuels system,
delphi/lucas 38# injectors, BeCool Rad, full race suspension, et.etc.etc.
..too much to list.

Check the part numbers, you may be able to get a 3" system and the exhaust shop just didn't have those kits. I believe the one I just put on my TA is 3" in and 2 1/2" out.

the one i had on my lt1 was 3" in and 2.5 out...

the 2.5 in/out was for the v6 i think

if it said 3.5 out...than it's a typo

I would trust summit, magnaflow, and GM high tech over your dealer anyday. My "dealer" told me it was mary jane, come to find out it was oregano...

Im guessing summit and Gm got there numbers from magnaflow, so that might be why they all agree.
