I just emailed both ebay sellers, and asked them to shoot me the lowest price they'd do without any "extras" like a "free" catalytic converter.
$280 shipped to my door.

quick ??: i am hopefully going to be installing this catback this weekend, and i was wandering if i should gut my cat and put a straight pipe in the cats shell (visual emissions in pa ) The cat that is on there now is a catco (don't know if it is high flow? definately not high quality as i had to pull the heat shield off since the weld broke ) wasnt sure how the magnaflow would sound w/o cats.

 

I posted something like this almost two years ago............I couldnt understand why more people werent ordering the Mag from E-Bay at that price. Best $270 I ever spent on the Z! I can still see my reflection in the muffler after 2 years.

 

yeah your post might have been where i had seen this actually! i have been searching on this site countless hours and i came across someone that said something about the magnaflow on ebay, and sure enough they still sell them. i even heard some people say that they were getting them for 250 shipped, but the guy must have changed his prices cause he wouldnt go that low for me.


back to my cat question- a cat or a false cat?

 

Doesn't really matter. I'd leave the cat on there personally. You're not going to gain any power by gutting the cat unless its clogged.

Plus it will smell a whole lot better with the cat still on there. Sometimes those fumes get annoying.
