Excellent info, I found the part number I need. Now who deals them? They really don't say much about ordering on their site.

I may do that. I just emailed them asking if there was any local dealers here in Canada.

On a side question, has anyone been able to use the 8.5mm Magnacore wires, and squeeze them into the stock looms? Just curious, because some SLP dual catheaders are going in, and I don't want any burnt wires, not have to do any custom routing.

stock looms wont work... you'll also need to go over the valve covers

I managed to do it, but I had to spray a little WD-40 on them to fit them in. I have Mac headers with stock coating too.

On their website they show 7mm wires as well. These should fit the stock looms with no prolem.

I run 7mm Crane Firewires and have 0 problems with them. I just wish they still made them. They rock.

I was hoping that's be the case. I know that it would take some lube, but if I can't wire them in the stock looms, then I'd have to go with something else since the SLP's have that funky primary tube on the pass side.

I installed the 8.5 Magnecors on my car and all the stock looms worked just fine. But don't try to use the oem looms with say MSD 8.5s as they don't fit well. The Magnecor wires are much more flexible and not has "hard" as other brands. So they are much easier to work with on an LT1 than other brands. They also come in a size for headers. That is the set I purchased. Also, I got mine from Thunderracing, too. They are good wires

Magnecor has two different sizes for the LT1. With-headers and without. I use the with-headers ones, and used them with stock manifolds too.

Since you have the same headers as I, did you have any clearance problems with running the longer header wires, even though you used the stock looms?

Nope, they worked fine.

If you have a 97 then you likely have different headers than my single-cat ones though.
