ok car runs like crap(rough & rich). when i unplug the maf it runs like it should but little high on the rpm. tried different maf(that works) & it still runs the same until i unplug it & then runs fine again. what all should i be checking that is associated with the maf that would cause this.....thanks

 

ok we replaced the temp sensor towards the front of the car & still runs the same......
my buddy has some o2 sensors he is gonna put on since he suspects that to be the problem but we will see(crosses fingers). when the car is started up cold it runs ok for a few minutes with just a little miss & then will begin to run rich & stumble/worse & finally will die. so far we have checked maf, fuel pressure, temp sensor. i just hope o2 sensors solves this mystery but if not then what else should i definately be looking at?

 

What would really help is a little history. Did you buy it this way? Did it "just start happening" or did you make mods?

A sig is also VERY important here to see what has been done to the car.

 

well when i bought the car it just had a small head gasket leak but ran fine otherwise. i had the head gaskets done along with new spark plugs & thermostat. my buddy picked the car up for me when it was done & drove it to his house, & it ran fine for him for a few miles then suddenly starts running like crap. the only mods on this car are a flowmaster exhaust & cold air intake. like i said car ran fine b4 the head gasket repair & after the repair until a short while after my buddy drove it. the mechanic said he drove it for bout 10 miles & ran fine. now my buddys trying to figure out the problem for me & thought id ask for some help
