Question Maf sensor

I bought a used mass air flow meter for my 94 b/c i removed the screen from my o.e& to have a spare.I noticed that my receipt says it was from a 1996 GM1500 w/ "T" code eng.Are there any problems w/using one from something other than a Z28?I also want to compare both maf sensor,s& see if the screen removed helps on a dyno, etc.Btw i bought the sensor from a large auto wrecker!

Re: Maf sensor

The same MAF was used in models of those trucks according to the AC-Delco catalog, but I don't know what a T code engine is. Maybe they meant VIN T, but I don't see any VIN T listings. Do see VIN R , S and others, though.

No, not according to the listing. It uses the same MAF.

Re: Maf sensor

Thanks Shoebox for the reply.I,m going to try run those maf,s back-to -back & see if any gains are achieved are seen by removing the screen, either on a dynojet/or even a Gtech.
