Maf Screen

i was needing to know how i would take off the screen on a 94Z A4. i have a cat delete with a strait pipe in place and i have a LM1. is this considered a free mod.

I wouldnt do it, it'll cause the readings to be off by a bit. You wouldnt gain enough power for it to be worth the risk. But if your just determined to do it take a box cutter to it but be carefull not to cut or even touch the wires in the middle of the sensor.

Can't he just take the snap ring out, so he doesn't have to damage the screen? I think theres a snap ring in there, not positive because I left my screen in there... and look at my setup.

Some have snap rings, others are not designed to be removed and would have to be cut. Having said that, I would not recommend removing the screen.JMHO

Agreed. I would leave the MAF alone. The ICM cooling mod and throttle body bypass mod are probably as far as I would go with the free mods.
