Hi all.
I was wondering if anyone has heard from ion. I placed an order with him a couple weeks ago by filliing out one of his online forms and then sending him 263 dollars via paypal. I have sent him at least 2 or three followup emails and he hasn't responded at all. From what I see on this forum, it seems to be business as usual for him by not responding...but I was just wondering if anyone has had any communication with him or should I try to get my money back from paypal...don't even know if that is possible.

Ion if you are listening, pay your little brother to respond to your emails. This is NOT good Customer service! Very Frustrated

I've had nothing but great customer service from Ion. Give him a call.

 

First don't get me started with the rolleyes comment.

I emailed him with my order, I never phoned him and I got responses before I paid the money.. since i paid, I have gotten nothing.

I have had about 500 transactions on ebay, both as a buyer and a seller and never have I had to call. All the transactactions were started and completed on line.

He has a set time supposedlyfor answering emails. Anyway, I can see this is going to go nowhere. I've filed a complaint with paypal. Hopefully I will get my money back and try another tuner. Hopefully the level of maturity exhibited by the rolleyes comment isn't the norm around this board.

I never got a reply from an email I sent him a couple weeks ago. He's loosing a lot of money by treating paying customers like this. If you have to call him, that costs time and money for both people.

Where is he?!

 

I sent him an email and a datalog file a month or more ago, and he responded within a reasonable amount of time. Not only did he respond but he updated my tune and sent that attached to the email.

Not sure what to tell you on this one. I got better service from Madz28.com than PCMforless. You might try calling him anyway.

 

The PCM was shipped out on the 22nd Priority Mail as usual. It does not show as delivered, but that is all USPS has to offer as far as tracking goes. I am behind with emails because of a server failure as I mentioned in the last post I did. I lost massive amounts of information which was mostly unrelated to my business, but I could not access my new emails due to that. I will catch up on all unanswered emails tonight.

As for the paypal dispute, in 6 years of having an account, it is my first one and I don't have a problem saying it because I know there isn't one person that filed one. I don't have any PCMs or any shipments that I have not shipped out as of today. The only thing I am behind with is my emails and some cores, which is related to the email.

I don't know what is happening with USPS, but they lost another package of mine just last week and delayed several others. The delay was not on my side as you can see the date it was postmarked/shipped out on. (the red stamp on the package) If this continues, I will switch to UPS.

As written in my email, I will mail another PCM on Monday. In the mean time, as mentioned in the other post, if anyone requires immediate assistance before receiving my reply, please call at 815-505-3405. You can call today until 10 PM.

Thank you and sorry all for the inconvinience. I would hire someone else to answer my emails, but due to their specific technical nature, I don't feel I can find anyone qualified enough to provide good support.

Well I feel I overreacted and I apologize for that, but surely you can see why the need for communcation is so important if you sent out the computer.

Maybe you don't think it's necessary, but perhaps at the time of shipping you could mail a letter.

Anyway, I thank you for clearing up the matter.

I know A LOT of people that has had problems with USPS. Go with UPS or FX.

 

Try DHL, i use them all the time. Best prices and always the fastest. I have had some problems shipping packages through USPS over the years as well.

 

I've never had a problem reaching Ion. I do end up leaving him a message more times then not, but he does return my calls and is always a wealth of good information and help. I will say though I've tried calling him during the day which is during his "off" hours. He works at the library at a college, so I'm sure he's limited when he can answer his phone during then.

He did offer to drive 6+ hours down here where I live to dyno tune my car when I decide to do engine work. You can't beat that for service. I hope he becomes a sponsor over on ls1tech. I have him listed in my signature over there, so when he does, I'll be sure and recommend him to help give him momentum. Then he'll need to hire someone for sure to at least take care of payments and shipping.
