That's what I like to read even the pros like madwolf still looking over there adjustments trying to become a little better than they were the day before. That's a cool thing to strive for in my book. You'll be getting some money from me soon.

Re: Madwolf is the Man!!

Basically Brian and Keith told me the same thing as Ion....Need longtubes.
I have to make sure it's good w/ the HCINC(house commander in Chief) but I could give you a definite maybe those headers. How long have you been waiting for the order to fill up?

Re: Madwolf is the Man!!

I'd agree Ion is a very good guy. I got a tune from him a while back and my car started running bad around the time i installed the tune so i contacted Ion and he doubted that the tune would be causing my problems but offered to send a new pcm anyway. So i took him up on that and it ended up NOT being the problem (It was a look spark plug and a burnt wire lol i feel so stupid) But that just goes to show Ion will stand behind his work even if it's against his judgement.

I am 98% sure they are 1 5/8 shorties. I totally agree that Ion is a standup guy. I told you I love the tune right?

Re: Madwolf is the Man!!

Ion did a great job tuning my firebird, even with a CC306 it is very driveable around town. My wife(whom would probably rather ride the bus before driving my car) had no problems driving around doing her errands the other day when her Camry had a flat and I was at work. That says a lot because before he tuned it you basically had to put it in neutral at stop lights and drive with one foot on the brake and one on the gas in traffic, and you smelled like gas after driving it. Go Ion!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the kind words!

Jeremy,
I reread your post and noticed the 5% comment. There is no way the tune would have gone from 13.7 to 12.7 if you added 5% to the %change vs RPM at WOT table. Did you edit something else or was that a different value? If you added 5% to that table, it must have been a dyno fluke because 5% in that table would change about .1 AFR or so.

Re: Madwolf is the Man!!

Got them, thanks.
What you wrote makes sense and that's the way it should be only it's not 5%, which is why I got confused the first time.
