Made In Mexico.......

I'm venturing into an opti change and I bought some new vacuum tubes with check valves to change and on the rubber tubes they came with a large sticker that said: Made in Mexico

Now that got me thinking. They really is nothing all American anymore!

Nope, its called Globalization. For companies to stay competitive, it has to search for the lowest cost of labor, land and raw materials. When the market constantly asks for the lowest prices, companies have no choice but to search for alternatives to stay alive.

Also, just because it's made somewhere other than the USA doesn't mean its not quality. All companies have their internal quality control (QC) and if it doesn't meet their specs, it's rejected.

I was kind of disapointed when i went to autozone to buy a waterpump the box didnt have one english word on it....all spanish.
