mac's on 97 dual cats?

For a long time i have been looking for headers and my head is still spining. I think the macs are the best for my needs, $, and smog.

I got a few questions about the mac pn# TF95971 1-5/8 headers w/ Y-pipe & cats.

What is with this "HST silver coating" ? IS THIS CRAP? I REALLY WANT COATED HEADERS? How much $ to get them "Jet Hot" coated?
Anyone got pic.of the headers with this "HST silver coating"?
Anyone got a pic. of the y-pipe with the cats?
Will they fit on my 97 with an slp oil cooler?
Do you like them? SOTP diff.?
Better than SLP's dual cat headers?
Do thay come with everything i need ? do i need o2 extenders?

Don't know anything about the MACs for Dual-Cat headers. I just assumed that the SLPs were the ones to get since they are supposed to bolt right up to the dual-cats.

The Slps are also 1 3/4 SS. I bought the SLPs and had them ceramic coated locally for around $200.00. Thought I'd get a better job.

I had them installed a while ago. Burned my heater hose a bit and am now going to replace the hose with a coolflex, copper hose. Hopefully I can eliminate the burn problem and maybe even route them a bit further away from the headers, but somehow I doubt it.

Since there are few options for dual-cat headers (shorties) I guess I figured I'd settle for the SLPs.

You might be able to pick up a set off this site where some guys went to LTs. JMHO.

I'll send you a picture to your e-mail address out of thier catalog. I am debating about the same thing, slp's or mac's. I still haven't decided but I am leaning towards the mac's.
