Mac True Fit Headers.... Your opinions

Hey all,

I'm looking at installing a set of headers. I've decided that I don't want longtubes since I'm going to lower my car soon. I was looking at the Mac True Fit headers. Are they easy to install? Also, what's the deal with that coating they come with - what is it?

Thanks!

Greg

Do what I did. Buy the MAC's coated directly from Jet-Hot. They are awesome headers once they are coated from Jet-Hot.

The MAC coating is a high temperature coating of some sort, but many have had problems with it rusting soon.

The MAC's have a good reputation. Here is a picture of mine with the Jet-Hot coating. Should cost you about $565 including shipping from Jet-Hot. Comes with the headers and the Y-pipe coated inside and out.

Dan,

Thanks for the reply. That looks sweet. Did you install yours yet?
