RK's have the 1 3/4 primaries and will perform better especially with future mods. Ther a lot harder to install and to change plugs over the Mac's. Be prepared for massive headaches to install RK's, and yes I have been there.

The Mac's are not crap at all, they just have the smaller tubes but are much easier to install and plug access is wonderful.

I swap my cat out with 16" dynomax bullet muffler which i refer to as a "test pipe". The bullet muffler reduces the raspy unpleasant noise you get when the cat is oulled.

hmmmm.... A buddy of mine ordered the rk sport's. when he got em he checked them with a straight edge and they were not even close to being square (flat). they were so bad that the gaskets he had wouldnt even seal to the head. He then called them and long story short, they gave him a hard time, and he ended up with hooker long tubes. not trying to make anyone sound bad, but i dont think im going to deal with rk sport. just my $.02

Re: Mac mids vs. RKSport mids

I have heard of warped flanges with every header out there. I had a concern about my driver side header as it related to the #1 primary being to close to the steering shaft. They replaced it no questions asked in less than 5 days. The second header did the same thing so I had to mod the steering shaft to provide more clearance. This was just one of those headaches I was referring to earlier.
