Mac mid's/Hooker LT's with cutout open

Anyone have a sound clip of what these two setups sound like? Do LT1's with headers and cutout not sound good?

I get soooooo many compliments on my car the way it sounds with LT's and the cutouts open.

Open headers, at least at a low RPM cruise 1600-say 2100, sounds kinda weird. VERY LOUD though. Under hard acceleration, its Godly.

If it means anything to you, my next mod is either gonna be an E-Cutout or RR's ...

My friend has a 96 ws6 with longtubes/ no cat/ open cutout and it sounds just like mine (ls1 longtubes/ no cat/ open cutout.) It's awesome, very beastly. The guys at the shop were saying I need to cap my cutout because they couldn't hear themselves think. I capped it for about 5 seconds, and opened it back up. It's just too quiet and weak sounding for me without the cutout open. And your topend will improve drastically with open headers.
