Mac midlength headers

How do you like them? Was the install easier than longtubes? Where is the best place to get them from? How do they sound? Do they make the exhaust louder? Sound comparison to longtubes? Can you get them ceramic coated? Can you buy them as header/offroad y pipe set? Thanks.

Would you buy them again? Could you notice a performance increase? Where did you buy yours from? Did it make your exhaust any louder or meaner sounding? Also, how do you like your 3.73 gears? Did they help alot?

would i buy them again ? no they are starting to rust only because i dident get the ceramic coating i would have gone long tubes but i dident want to raise the engine and i was on a budget. it really opened the car up. after i did my corsa exhaust i was dissapointed it was too quiet so i did the headers with an off road y pipe it sounds bad *** even more after 3k rpm. i noticed a good gain in power it was one of the best mods i did for the car. got them from summit dont remember how much i paid though

ohh yea and the gears that was another good mod it goes through the gears alot quicker (i had 2:77 b4)gas milage dropped a little bit and at 70mph it revs at about 2500 rpm in overdrive
after that u will want to get a good set of stickey tires like nittos

If they were ceramic coated would you buy them then? So you could tell a noticeable difference with the midlengths?

yea for the time being i would buy them. they will do for now i plan on doing long tubes in the future but thats after heads cam and possibly supercharger
i think they are great for many bolt ons and you plan on keeping it that way but for big stuff like heads cam and supercharger i would recommend long tubes with like a 1 3/4 ports. two other good mid lenght headers are slps they have 1 3/4 ports too or asm headers

These headers can be ideal for most people's setups. I've had good luck with them for the most part. If you do get them, dont bother with the stage 8 locking header bolts, the 7/16" heads on them make them too much of a pain in the *** to tighten.

I felt a big difference after installing them and they were well worth it. getting them coated is a must.

Unless your aiming for over 4 to 500 hp theyre a good bang for the buck.
