AFAIK there's no CARB number, but they do retain all smog fittings.

If I get It smoged will it pass. In Ca you have to have a sticker that says its legal. Is it?

i run the edelbrock ceramics and live in the peoples republic of CA and i passed no problem. i talked to the smog guy and he only remarked about my cat (carsound after market) he just said it was strange looking. my numbers were all below levels and i had all the smog hook ups on it (and he checked also) so i would think your fine. the edelbrock's stamp the carb eo right on top of the driver side header so it was easy to see. hope that helps.

I also live in the Peoples socialist state of Ca. and am running AS&M Shorties ( Actually more like mid length) They also have all the smog fittings but no CARB #. I don't think I'll have a problem but in case I do I may just tell them there Edledrocks and give them that CARB #.

I already bought the Mac system. The shop says they wont install it unless its smog legal.

So technically in CA you need a CARB EO#, and there should be at a minimum a sticker that came with the headers that has this number on it. Some headers will have a little plate welded to the header itself, with the number on it. If MAC didn't send such a sticker, the odds are they're not legal in CA. You might call them to check.

I suspect that sticker is what your shop is looking for you to come up with.

I went with the SLP's just because of the fact that the Mac's don't have CARB certification. If you install the headers yourself and IF you can find a place that is not a stickler for the visual then your car will pass the emissions (as long as you cat is good)

Macs are not legal in California. They don't have an E. O. number. If you install them then every 2 years when it's time to smog you will have to find some smog test guy willing to risk a big fine or his job to smog your car with illegal headers. Sell them and get some headers that have a CARB E. O. number.

I had mac's and I had trouble getting them to pass without a carb #. You have to get a carb # one way or another for an easy smog here.

I have talked to several shops around here in fresno. And they all have told me. That if it doesn't have a stamped carb# on the header. It's not legal in california.
