I looking into buying some MAC midlength headers from jet hot, and have a few questions.

The headers are listed as mac shorties-aren't all macs midlength? Don't want to take a chance and get the wrong headers.

How long did you folks have to wait to receive your coated headers from jet hot? I am fine with a week or two, but will need the car to be running in 3 weeks.

Is the mac midlength part number TF94957?

 

You have the correct part# for the MAC midlengths. I got mine in a couple of weeks, but I've heard that they may be backordered now. Call jet hot to find out.

Where else can these be purchased? I'd rather get them coated, but time is a big issue for me. If they are back ordered, I'll have to go elsewhere.

 

Def get them coated....even if you have to wait, it's well worth it. I've had my Mac's on since October and they still look like they did when they came out of the box.

 

How much do they come to with the Y pipe and coated?

 

Mine were about $560 shipped, but that was 1 1/2 years ago.

I talked to a sales rep yesterday, and he informed me that the macs were backordered. Very popular headers he says. Sounds like a wait of a few weeks at least. Is that what others have found? I'm sure the coating is worth it, though...
