MAC Cat. converter...cheaper replacement?

MAC sells a cat that can bolt up to that ball joint on their y-pipe, but I see them for over $200 a piece! does anyone else make a cat like theirs, but cheaper?

Instead of getting a Mac Cat converter why don't you get a Carsound cat? The carsound cat flows second to Random Tech Cat. You can get the universal version of it on ebay

I think the cat is like 31.00 and a couple of dollars for shipping.

but does it have that same ball fitting as the MAC, so it will fit up to the MAC y-pipe?

Didn't your Mac Headers and y-pipe come with a starter tube so you can conntect a cat to the y-pipe? Because in my mac headers and y-pipe kit it came with a starter tube so I can bolt up a cat to the y-pipe. If you don't have this in your kit I would recommend you getting this tube.
