MAC 94-95 headers

there are some on ebay with y pipe new for 350 and there are also some slp shorties with y pipe slightly used for 210 currently probably more since the last bidder's max bid Im sure is higher, just wondering which of these you would go with and why, the MAC's look better and the slp's look strange but the slp's have 1 3/4 inch primarys, im thinking which has more power potential....

If both are the 94-95 design header, I'd go with SLP. Not only are they 1 3/4" primaries, but they're also stainless steel.

are those macs sold by redline? They had some listed on there for $229 with Y pipe and $20 shipping. These were new, but painted. you can get them coated for $100 more.

I had mac midlength headers on my other 94Z a few years back...plug access was a dream and the car ran 12.8 with just bolt ons... I was happy with them.

I think the 1 5/8 primaries are preferable until you are moving more air. The smaller primary will increase exhaust velocity and low wne dotrque. You don't really need the 1 3/4 until you go cam and heads IMO

MAC's are great, easy to put on, plug access is great. I've put two sets on and highly recomend them.
