M6 Shifter install...help?

Ok I know this is a basic install, but I have a broken bone in my right hand, so things are kinda rough. I can't get the lower shift boot to even start to come off the floor tunnel. I removed all the screws...it just seems to be stuck on. I'm trying to do this right now, so quick replies are much appreciated

I don't know how much help that will be. But, I tried. Good Luck. I have never removed mine. But I'm sure it will be soon enough.

Are you talking about the rubber cover over the hole in the floor? Sometimes with a lot of miles it will stick to the floorboard. You can just take a screwdriver and gently pry it up but don't force it or you might tear the rubber.

After a few minutes of prying with a flathead it popped off. Now I'm off to the hardware to buy some RTV sealant
