Just like the title says, what kind of gas mileage can you expect from this cam. Thanks.

High teens low 20s. Totaly depends on your driving.

It's like they say, "If you have to ask what it costs, you can't afford it." You don't put a cam in for gas mileage.

That being said, I have a 230/236 cam, which is not quite as big as a 306. I have gotten as high as 24 mpg on the highway for long trips. Around town, I get more like 13-15, and that includes a heavy foot. My car is not my daily driver, so I really don't care about the gas mileage.

 

I only get about 11 around town , and about 20 on the highway.

I got 18 on my last trip. That is with a mail order tune and no o2 sensors. I was happy.

I get under 13 in town. I also have a heavy foot.

 

I'm getting between 12 and 17 mpg. Thats with a 383 motor and 4.11 gears. But I really don't worry the milage much since my Daily driver Insight is averaging 76.3 mpg!!

 

Maybee I need to buy an Insight as a daily driver... o_o
