AS&M TB, bigger injector upgrade
AS&M TB, bigger injector upgrade
I already did a search about this stuff, i got some mixed opinions.. As u can see from my sig, i am installing a LT1/T56 into my iroc, it will have all boltons, 224/236 cam, no AC, no AIR, it will be tuned by PCM4less.. I will be on the bump as for my fuel system from what i understand from other posts so i want to upgrade the TB. some on here like BBK, some like Holley and i've read about problems with both.. Others used the AS&M and i haven't seen anything bad about it so i think i'm gonna go for that one. Now they have a 52mm & 54mm, which should i get?, Nitrous is in the equation (100-150shot) and the main-MAIN reason for upgrading.. Next is the injectors, i think 30lbs would be the correct ones, i did the equation for them and i came up with 29.xx, could have screwed up but i think i did it right, any thoughts?

I'd suggest going with the AS&M 52MM unless you are go with juice or boost (then maybe a 58MM).
The 54MM would be nice, but the 52 will be cheaper if you get a stocker on the cheap to use as a core.
The intake is already sized for a 52MM also.
I did this and found that the AS&M bolted right up with no problems. Nice chrome cover too.JMHO

30lbers should be good mike, what will also influence your choice will be whether or not it will be a dry or wet N20 system.
Like mentioned above if you go 54mm youll have to port your intake some.
