AS&M headers and aftermarket K-members?

I just bought a set of Arizona Speed and Marine 1-3/4" ceramic coated headers and now I find out that I can't use them with a BMR K-Member (which I plan on getting whenever I rebuild my motor). I only know of one other company (PA Racing) that makes K-Members for our cars. Will my headers work with this or does anyone make one that will?

thanks

Sorry to hear about that man but it does say that on there website that they will not work with those type of headers. PA k-members are the only other kmember for our cars unless you fab one up.

Yeah, I never looked on the website for the BMR because I didn't plan on getting it for a while. Does anyone know if the PA one is any good? Maybe I can use that one.

From everything I've heard, with the K-Member, the BMR is the way to go. Unfortunately, that puts us ASM header club members into a pickle when it comes time to do such a thing. K-Member and a new set of headers, or keep the ASM's and the weight.

Damn! I didn't know that. I bought a BMR unit last fall. I could swear they didn't have that disclaimer on there when I bought mine. Well, I am either looking for longtubes or selling the K-member

If your K-member is the KM-002 and you decide to sell, let me know.
Thanks!

Yeah, we definitally can't use the BMR with our headers. But, does anyone know anything about the PA racing one? They have it on ThunderRacing.com.

Why don't you just call Thunderracing and let us all know. I have the RKSport knock-offs so I'm curious too.

AJE Racing also makes some. I don't know anything about them but Jegs sells them. Might be worth looking into.

SLP 94-95 Headers do not fit w\ the BMR Kmember either. I called them prior to order and they said they did noot know of any problems w\ them fitting. Hits the motor mount bracket on the driver side collector, no way will it work. So now I`ve got Jet Hot longtubes. I also know of other shorties that had trouble. I would say unless using longtubes forget BMR Kmembers.

Does anyone know anything about that AJE Racing K-member? Is it high quality? I don't want to make the mistake of putting garbage into my car just because it fit.

most of the info you are gonna find on AJE stuff is from Mustang owners
a friend of mine has the Chromoly front chassis stuff for his Mustang and i've seen it in person, looked like good quality, comparable to BMR
personally if i would've known about AJE before i bought BMR, i would have went with that

Yeah, maybe I'll give them a call.

What's the deal with the Pinto rack stuff I keep seeing?
