I recently picked up a set of the Arizona Speed and Marine headers used from a salvage yard around here. These headers go for $1459 on Thunder Racing and I got them for $75! :grin:

The only problem is that I'm missing this stuff from the kit:

Stage 8 locking header bolts
Fel-Pro header gaskets
GM check valve adapters
Taylor fire sleeves
new dipstick tube pre-bent and cut
Stainless steel tie wraps
O2 sensor harness extension
longer #8 plug wire

Where is the best place to pick this stuff up? Which things do I really need and which ones could I just make due with what I have?

i would think most parts stores would carrie felpro header gaskets. i had AS&M send me the check valve adapters--it was a gm part # but unfortunately i threw away the boxes already. shoebox could probably help ya with that.
www.ls1speed.com will probably have the rest of that stuff.
i tried to use the stock wires and locations. i burnt one wire immediately through the protective sleeve so i'm in the process of running some MSD wires over the valve covers. (it's actually kind of fun, i feel innovative custom fitting my own wires!...then again, the fun will probably end when i start that passenger side ).
oh and as far as the dipstick goes, i'm really not sure about that. mine's not in very good and it's all bent out of shape.
