Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaner

Can I use the lucas in the skinny bottle on my 138k mile engine? I hear it is bad for used cars, cleans TOO good or something stupid like that, want to hear some 'expert' opinions.

Re: Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaner

You should be OK....... All it does is clean and lube.... Its when add thing to your oil that can cause leaks sometime...IE: 5 minute flush, ect....

Re: Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaner

I figured it was prolly a myth. They said that it cleans so well, that it will either flush rusty fuel into the motor, or clog the injectors..

I swear by seafoam. After seeing it work in person on small engines that I work on every day, thats all I use. I use a few cans a year in my cars.
