LT's+Mufflex Y-pipe+Cats???

I just ordered a set off Jethot LT's and a mufflex y-pipe (there aren't too many performance exhaust shops around here who could fabricate one), will these mate up to the catalytic converter? I understand that it'll have to be relocated, but has anyone done this? I'm just worried that the shop will have some heartache if they have to remove the cat entirely. TIA

You could weld the cat after the Y pipe, theres room there to fit one but besides that its going to be trouble. I saw one person use one of those tiny cats on the dual cat cars on the drivers side and one of the bigger cants on the passangers side.

I would just go without cats.. Oh wait, I did!

You are not going to be able to weld a factory cat onto to the end of that Ypipe. The y pipe has a 4 inch collector, I guess you can get a reducer but I think they only make 4 inch to 3 inch and 3 inch to 2.5 inch, but even then, the cat is going to be so far back that its not even going to work properly, the exhaust won't be that hot by the time it travels back that far. I wouldn't buy a mufflex Y if you have to stay emmissions friendly.

Could the Mufflex Y-pipe be shortened, or altered, to accept the converter?
