Which LT's have the best ground clearance?
Re: Which LT's have the best ground clearance?
I have KooK's on my vert, it's lowered about 1-1/2" and I have plenty of room... 4" maybe.
After all my research on the net I chose KooK's due to the lack of slip-fit primaries and excellent ground clearance. You are not going to find much better clearance with any other header manufacturer that uses 3" or larger collectors. Do yourself a favor, buy the KooK's... "do it once, and do it right".
*side note*
QTP might be making full length headers for LT1 F-body's, and they plan on competeing in the KooK's market of "top-o-the line headers". If you are in no rush, it might be worth your while to wait and see what they have to offer... at the very least they might end up driving down the price of the KooK's.

TPIS has some of the best, they were actually designed to fit on a lowered F-body. I know Dynatech wasnt bad either. Although I have Hookers and I have never scrapped the headers just bolts on my band clamps for the ORY.
