LTI Build - Crate Short Blocks
I am looking to get an already built short block. I was looking at the Golen 396 and wanted to get some opinions on them and others who put these things together. The Golen looks to be reasonably priced but I am open to other opinions.

My engine builder installed a built golen lt1 some time ago, and he said it smoked like there was no tomarrow. So whoever he spoke to at golen told him to run the the crap out of it. He said it quit smoking for a little while, but then started smoking again, and to this day it smokes very bad.
Iv read a ton of good things about golen, but this was not one of them.
