You can pick up the springs at www.sdpc2000.com

You will need a valve spring compressor, something to hold the vavles closed (air tool), as well as the locks and retainers. A new set of valve seals might not be a bad idea as well. I think that's everything.

I used the KD Tools spring compressor with the removeable handle.

You can remove the springs without pressurizing the cylinder if you bring the piston to tdc.

 

I am going to have the heads of anyway so I don't need to worry about air compressor or anything...

I have valves, springs, retainers, locks etc. from lt4 heads never used if your interested.

 

The stock retainer and locks will work with the lt4 springs. The whole set of springs is like $38 @ paceparts
